There is no absolute goal in FactoryCapi. You create your own. Some player will want to become the richest, some other will want to be the more productive.
I wanted to add very end game items that players can refer to when thinking about a goal. These items are just cosmetics, there are skins and dyes.
You can set a skin or dye via the customization panel of a building. This panel is pretty straightforward, you can add, change (swap), or remove skin or dye for a building. You can select items directly from your cloud storage.
Skins and dyes are linked to a specific building, you cannot put a "wood skin for chest" on an assembling machine. Their recipe are also different.
If you destroy a building with skin or dye inside, they will be saved in the ItemStack meta data. This way you can sell a golden shinny chest (: The previous image shows the wood plane recipe. Of course it will change before the release, but you get the idea.
